I have “Chronic Insomnia of Unknown Causes” that is the sleep clinic’s diagnosis. Duhhhhhh I knew that! I just wanted them to tell me how to fix it. Cause I’ve been trying every other remedy I’ve heard for years. The sleep clinic’s only solution was drugs.. One drug to help me sleep and another to stop me from feeling the lethargic side effect the next day. I do have to admit on rare occasion I pop a pill to sleep but its pretty rare since my prescription is about 4 years old or so.
I used to lay in bed for hours exhausted and in tears because I was so tired but my mind and body won’t turn off. Now I have learned to function on little sleep and instead of laying there… doing nothing… exhausted… get up… grab a glass of red wine and do something productive. Tonight I tried to sleep but that was not in my stars so I poured a glass of wine, put on some tunes and did some crafts and make a crock pot of potato leek soup for tomorrow. Guess who doesn’t have to cook at all tomorrow!

Some people know that wearing a flower in my hair is kinda my signature. Its a very rare occasion when you don’t see one in my hair and that’s usually cause I simply forgot… Some of the ones I have were starting to get pretty rough looking… others are just lost. So tonight I decided to heat up the glue gun and make a few new ones!
I have also been working on organizing and decorating my bed room in pink and black so I hung some sparkly pink ribbon on my closet door so I have a place for my hair flowers until I do the actual project I have in mind to display/store them. (picture coming soon).
